Google patent: AR glasses could answer questions from pointing and gaze
Google filed a patent application for AR glasses that infer a question from where a user points and looks. Two AI models turn the gesture into a prompt, find the answer and pin it to the real object, with label reading, hazard warnings and on-device face blurring.
- Application filed April 9 and published October 15
- Two AI models: one builds a prompt from the gesture, one finds the answer
- Glasses weigh gesture duration, fingertip distance and eye gaze
- Faces and documents are blurred on-device before cloud processing
