Leak: Intel Nova Lake Xeon E drops hybrid SKUs

Leaker Jaykihn says Intel's Nova Lake-based Xeon E lineup will ship in two variants: P-Core-only SKUs with 4 to 16 cores or E-Core-only SKUs with 4 to 32 cores. No hybrid configurations are planned, as those remain reserved for desktop Nova Lake-S. The W980 platform adds ECC DDR5, up to 48 PCIe lanes and DMI 5.0 x4 at 128 Gbps per direction.

• P-Core lineup: five SKUs at 4, 6, 8, 12 and 16 cores
• E-Core lineup: four SKUs at 4, 8, 16 and 32 cores
• W980: ECC DDR5, up to 48 PCIe lanes, two USB4/Thunderbolt 4 ports
• DMI 5.0 x4 doubles bandwidth to 128 Gbps per direction
