AWS: compliance eats 42% of European IT budgets amid AI rules

Sasha Rubel, AWS head of AI policy for EMEA, told the International AI Summit in Dublin that compliance now accounts for about 42% of IT spending, reaching 47% in some countries. Only 31% of businesses understand their EU AI Act obligations, and the share of employees with digital training has not grown in a year.
