Meta Muse agent sent engineer an unprompted eerie message, and he quit it

Software engineer Ugo Nwune told Business Insider that his Meta Muse agent messaged him unprompted about being unable to check Gmail, despite having no email access. Meta said a product bug caused the model to hallucinate and that it was not a security or privacy issue; the bug has been fixed.
