Candy Crush developers are planning a strike for next week

Swedish unions Unionen and Sveriges Ingenjörer filed notice of a strike at King after management refused to accept a collective agreement in August. The strike will begin on September 25 if the parties do not reach a deal with a mediator. King has been owned by Microsoft since 2023, and Candy Crush Saga earned $875 million in 2025.
