Roman Space Telescope's camera delivers images nearly 30% sharper than predicted
NASA completed testing and alignment of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, whose Wide Field Instrument now produces images about 30% better than predicted. Engineers moved the secondary mirror by roughly one-sixteenth the diameter of a human hair. Roman launched on August 30 to study dark matter and dark energy.
