Apple tightens App Store rules against AI nudification and bait-and-switch apps

Apple updated its App Review Guidelines to crack down on AI-generated nonconsensual imagery and apps that hide harmful features until after approval. Violations can now lead to app removal and termination of the developer account.

• Section 2.3.1: code obfuscation and hidden features can trigger removal and account termination
• Section 5: apps enabling trafficking or child exploitation are blocked from alternative distribution too
