Upcycled battery materials roughly double cell cycle life in tests
Researchers at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) developed a recycling method that converts mixed battery waste into upcycled cathode and anode materials. In tests, pouch cells made with these materials lasted roughly twice as long as cells using commercial counterparts.
