Volvo's 435-Mile Electric Truck Targets Diesel-Dominated Freight Routes

Volvo Trucks has started series production of next-generation electric trucks at its Gothenburg and Ghent plants. The flagship FH Aero Electric with a new e-axle travels up to 435 miles (700 km) on a charge and supports megawatt charging; FH, FM and FMX models reach up to 292 miles. A truck for combinations up to 88 tonnes with a 640 kWh battery was also unveiled.
