Tesla and SpaceX take “Terafab” Trademark fight to Federal Court

Tesla and SpaceX filed a lawsuit in a Texas federal court seeking a declaration that the name of their chip factory, Terafab, does not infringe the Tera-Fab trademark of Illinois-based TERA-print. Negotiations between the parties failed after six meetings in summer 2026.
