SpaceX asks FAA to allow 456 Starship launches a year
SpaceX has asked the FAA to permit 456 Starship launches per year, nearly 40% more than all orbital launch attempts worldwide in 2025 (329). Phase one would raise the cap at its Texas Starbase from 25 to 100 launches and 200 landings a year, phase two to 456 launches and 912 landings. The FAA has begun an environmental review of the program.
