SpaceX policy manager to testify in NYC Council AI safety probe

SpaceX's head of global government affairs for AI, Gabriela Castillo Madrid, will testify before the New York City Council on Friday via video conference as part of a legislative investigation into AI safety. SpaceX had earlier evaded a subpoena for the Oct. 5 hearing, where Anthropic, Google, Meta and OpenAI testified voluntarily.
