Axera unveils AX8860 edge AI chips with 256 TOPS and up to 128 GB memory

Axera has announced the AX8860, a 6nm edge AI chip series designed to run large models on factory floors, in warehouses and on robots. It offers up to 256 TOPS of mixed-precision compute with native FP4 support, up to 273 GB/s of memory bandwidth and as much as 128 GB of LPDDR5X, with support for vLLM, SGLang and PyTorch.
