SK hynix Showcases CXL Memory and In-Memory Computing at OCP Summit
SK hynix presented its second-generation CMM-DDR5 memory at the OCP Global Summit in San Jose: a 256GB module based on the CXL 3.2 standard with more than double the bandwidth of the previous generation and about 30% better energy efficiency, alongside the CMM-Ax in-memory computing solution and the MARS rack system.
- CMM-DDR5: 256GB, CXL 3.2, over twice the bandwidth of the previous generation
- Energy efficiency of CMM-DDR5 improved by about 30%
- CMM-Ax performs computing directly in memory, cutting data-center load
- MARS rack integrates partner solutions to boost system efficiency
