MIT built bioresorbable batteries for swallowed medical capsules
MIT researchers developed tiny bioresorbable batteries using magnesium and molybdenum trioxide that safely dissolve in the body. The battery delivers 1.84 volts, works for about three days and fully breaks down within weeks; testing so far is limited to animals.
