Samsung SDI targets June 2027 mass production of LFP batteries for AI servers
Samsung SDI plans to begin mass-producing cylindrical lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries for AI servers as early as June 2027. It would be the first South Korean battery maker to adopt cylindrical LFP backup batteries.
