Zimbabwe's new dinosaur Musango was 4.5 meters long and unique to the region
Paleontologists described a new sauropodomorph species, Musango matusadonaensis, from Late Triassic rocks about 210 million years old on the shore of Lake Kariba. The dinosaur reached 4.5 meters in length and weighed 220 kg, and its relatives turned out to be unique to Zimbabwe rather than an extension of South African fauna.
