Brave Leo Adds End-to-End Encrypted Chats via NEAR AI

Brave has partnered with NEAR AI to bring end-to-end encrypted chats to its Leo AI assistant. Prompts are encrypted on-device via Oblivious HTTP and processed by the GLM 5.3 Flash model inside an Nvidia-backed Trusted Execution Environment, hiding the user's IP address. The feature is live in Brave Release, Beta, and Nightly when GLM 5.3 Flash is selected.
