Apple HomeView details: 9 live cameras, Safari recipes, light-switch mounting

AppleInsider detailed HomeView features: the display shows up to nine simultaneous live camera feeds, supports shared photo albums and step-by-step recipes from Safari with Siri voice control. A $79.95 Schneider Home Power Mount lets it be hardwired into a standard single-gang wall box where a light switch was. Preorders are open ahead of the November 13 release, starting at $299.

• HomeView shows up to nine simultaneous live camera feeds instead of static snapshots
• Recipes from Safari and Apple News appear as steps, with Siri advancing by voice
• The $79.95 mount powers the display over USB-C from a standard single-gang wall box
• Home Collection cameras skip Matter for now over reliability and security concerns
