India's MEA admits no single tech diplomacy strategy document exists

India's Ministry of External Affairs told a parliamentary committee that the country has no single, stand-alone policy document consolidating its strategy on digital governance, AI, cyber issues and space. The Committee on External Affairs, chaired by Shashi Tharoor, called the approach "fragmentary, piecemeal and ad hoc" and recommended a unified Technology Vision and Strategy Document.
