Motorola Signature 27 promises seven years of updates, with a big asterisk

Motorola says the Signature 27 is slated to get up to seven major Android OS updates and bi-monthly security patches for up to seven years. Unlike recent Pixel and Galaxy flagships, monthly security patches aren't promised, and the "up to" wording leaves the timeline unguaranteed.

• Up to 7 major Android OS updates for the Signature 27
• Security patches every two months, not monthly
• Timeline uses "up to" wording with no guarantees
