Pentagon seeks contractor for $4bn data center in Alabama

The US Department of Defense has issued an advance notice seeking a design-build contractor for a US Space Command command-and-control facility and data center. The 700,000 sq ft site at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama will support about 1,800 personnel, cost roughly $4bn, and be delivered by December 2031.
