PTAB Rules Claims in Four Stratasys Patents Unpatentable in Bambu Lab Dispute
Two weeks after a Texas jury ordered Bambu Lab to pay Stratasys $27.6 million for infringing four 3D printing patents, the PTAB found claims in four separate Stratasys patents unpatentable. The rulings do not erase the verdict but complicate Stratasys's position in appeals and a second, untried lawsuit.
- PTAB found all challenged claims of US 10,556,381 and US 11,886,774 unpatentable
- For US 9,168,698, 14 of 15 challenged claims were ruled unpatentable, including claim 10
- All 17 challenged claims of US 10,569,466 were ruled unpatentable
- Most damages remain untouched: $14.2M on US 9,421,713 and $10.6M on US 7,555,357
