Idaho Site Finalized for First Campus-Based Nuclear Microreactor With 1,652°F Heat Pipes

Idaho State University (ISU) will host the first US university-based advanced microreactor, the Advanced Research and Test Reactor, on its campus with NuCube Energy. The unit operates above 900 °C and uses heat pipes instead of pumps for cooling.
