Rumour: revamped Google TV Streamer could undercut new Apple TV 4K

Tech Advisor reports that a second-generation Google TV Streamer is rumoured to be in development, possibly with built-in microphones for hands-free voice control, presence sensors, a faster processor and more storage. The current model costs £99/$149.99, while the new Apple TV 4K jumped to £299/$299.

• Built-in microphones may enable hands-free voice control without the remote
• Presence sensors could turn the device on when someone enters the room
• Storage expected to grow beyond the current 32GB, with a faster processor
• The remote may gain two extra shortcut buttons
