vivo X500 runs Geekbench, reveals a chipset schism in the line

A vivo X500 prototype (V2609A) was tested in Geekbench 6.7.1, scoring 2694 single-core and 7770 multi-core. The device runs on a MediaTek chip — likely Dimensity 9600M or Dimensity 9500 — with 12 GB RAM and Android 17 with OriginOS 7. While the X500 Pro and Pro Max will get Dimensity 9600 Pro, the standard version uses a weaker chip to reduce price. The lineup premieres in China on September 21.
