Garry's Mod creator 'ashamed' of s&box flop: 47% positive reviews, 500 players

Garry Newman, creator of Garry's Mod, publicly admitted that Facepunch's s&box failed after its April launch on Source 2. The game holds just 47% positive reviews on Steam and around 500 concurrent players despite an estimated 500,000–1 million copies sold. Facepunch will move its backend to Steam Workshop and refocus on the Sandbox game mode.
