Average US EV price rose to $55,879 in September

Kelley Blue Book data shows the average transaction price for a new EV in the US rose 2.4% month over month to $55,879 in September, though it was still 3% below last year. Incentives fell to 11% of ATP, the lowest level this year, while the EV premium over ICE+ models held near 11% versus 18% in 2025.
