HomeView recognizes users without biometrics, relying on nearby iPhone or iPad

Apple explained how HomeView serves personalized content: the device recognizes up to six people, but without Face ID or biometrics. Identification requires a registered iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence and Siri AI on the same Wi-Fi network, recently unlocked. Apple Watch cannot be used for recognition.
