QUOPS: New quantum benchmark compares Google, IBM, Quantinuum for first time

Sandia National Laboratories introduced QUOPS, the first comparative benchmark for trapped-ion and superconducting quantum computers. Quantinuum's Helios-1 outperformed Google Willow by 7 times in circuit size, but all systems are 100,000 times behind the performance needed to break RSA-2048.
