Apollo Power orders 260 Tesla Megapacks, about 1GWh, for AI data centers

Taiwan's Apollo Power has ordered 260 Tesla Megapack 2XL units, roughly 1GWh of storage, for behind-the-meter and grid resilience projects. Deliveries come in batches from late 2027 with sites operating in 2028; pricing was not disclosed. Only about 33 units are under signed customer contracts, with roughly 150 more in negotiation.
