Hong Ra-hee to gift remaining Samsung shares worth $1.93B to Lee Jae-yong

Hong Ra-hee, widow of former Samsung chairman Lee Kun-hee, will gift 11,158,000 Samsung Electronics shares worth about 2.6 trillion won ($1.93 billion) to her son, Chairman Lee Jae-yong. The contract was signed Oct. 12 with the transfer set for Nov. 12, raising Lee's stake from 1.58% to 1.75%.
