Acer Googlebook 14 review: first laptop on Googlebook OS at £999

The Acer Googlebook 14 is the first laptop tested running the new Googlebook OS, a desktop version of Android 17. It packs a 14in 2880 x 1800 120Hz OLED touchscreen, Intel Core Ultra 5 325, 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD for £999. Like Chrome OS, it can't run desktop Windows or macOS apps, and phone integration works only with Android 17 devices, not Samsung.
