Pax8: two-thirds of small firms using AI now build their own tools
A Pax8 survey of 1,150 business leaders in the US, UK, Germany and Sweden found that 67% of AI-using SMBs already run at least one solution they built themselves, with another 19% prototyping. Formal review of in-house AI ranges from 23% in the UK to 45% in Sweden, and 35% encountered shadow AI in the past six months.
