AMD's FSR 4 Coming to Steam Deck by Late 2026

AMD has confirmed plans to bring FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 to handheld gaming PCs and APUs by the end of 2026, with FSR 4.1 support for RDNA 2 hardware (used in the Steam Deck) in early 2027. The upscaler uses a lightweight algorithm without frame generation to cut the performance cost on constrained devices.
