Infineon unveils XDP8HD40S-1 HV hot-swap controller for AI servers

Infineon has introduced the XDP8HD40S-1, a high-voltage hot-swap controller for digital power-path protection and monitoring in ±400 V and 800 VDC AI server architectures. It offers PMBus 1.5, 12-bit ADCs with roughly 1% accuracy and black-box event recording, with samples targeted for Q2 2027.
