OpenAI in Talks to Revive Sora Through Filmmaker AI Startup
A stealth AI video startup for filmmakers, co-founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg, former Sora research lead Bill Peebles and ex-Dropbox CFO Sujay Jaswa, is in talks with OpenAI to access and tweak Sora and sell software or services built on it. OpenAI had shut down Sora and its TikTok-like app earlier this year.
