Hamaguchi: Final Fantasy VII Revelation Will Narrow the Platform Gap on Switch 2

Final Fantasy VII Revelation producer Naoki Hamaguchi said the third entry will push graphics quality and presentation above Rebirth across all platforms, using lessons from the Switch 2 port. The FITS system will also significantly alter characters' basic attack strings.

• Hamaguchi says Revelation's graphics will exceed Rebirth's on all platforms
• Switch 2 port experience will help close the gap with higher-spec systems
• FITS system changes basic combos — Tifa in Black Mage fires magic orbs
• Release expected in 2027, possible showing at The Game Awards
