Qualcomm unveils Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Extreme Gen 6 at IMC 2026
At India Mobile Congress 2026 Qualcomm showcased its flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipsets focused on agentic AI, gaming and cameras. It also gave a first look at the upcoming iQOO 16, Motorola Signature 27 and Xiaomi 18 Pro powered by the new platforms.
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is built on 2nm process with Oryon CPU and Hexagon NPU
- Extreme Gen 6 is called Qualcomm's most powerful mobile chip with Adreno Neural Fusion
- Camera support includes Advanced Professional Video and Intelligent Pixel Control
