AI-Built Torrent Site TorrentClaw Scans Downloads to Catch Fakes and Malware

TorrentClaw, a torrent search engine launched in February, is built on Claude Code and local LLMs and has indexed over 6 million torrents. Its TrueSpec system downloads 10–20 MB per torrent, checks video with ffprobe and hashes files on VirusTotal: of 687,057 probed torrents, 1,265 were flagged as deceptive (under 0.2%) and only 34 had confirmed malware.
