Efferon NEO becomes first pediatric sepsis blood purification device

Startup Efferon has developed Efferon NEO, a blood purification device for children with sepsis that removes both endotoxins and cytokines at once. It received a CE mark in April and is used in ICUs across 30 countries. The company is preparing an FDA filing and targets $2 million in annualized revenue by the end of 2026.
