Huawei and Qualcomm Sign 5G and AI Patent Cross-License Deal

Huawei and Qualcomm have agreed to a multi-year cross-license covering 5G, AI, computing and networking patents. Qualcomm will also buy selected Huawei U.S. patents, with closing subject to regulatory approvals. Huawei expects its total patent-licensing contract value to exceed $6.9 billion.
