Deadlock adds chess-master hero Solomon and sets a new Steam player record

Valve's Deadlock update introduces Solomon, a New York chess hustler who turns teammates into pieces and moves them around the map. The patch pushed the invite-only game's all-time peak Steam player count above Team Fortress 2's record.

• Solomon hurls chess pieces instead of using a weapon, with spirit-scaling damage
• Kingside Knight makes an ally invulnerable while hopping like a knight
• Ultimate Develop Queen deals area damage and executes enemies below 200 health
• Deadlock's peak Steam player count passed Team Fortress 2's all-time high
