Intel Hires Former Marvell Exec to Push Into ASIC Market
Intel has hired former Marvell executive Dean Jarnac to strengthen its position in the custom ASIC chip market. According to analyst Jack Gold, the company aims to leverage his experience to secure contracts. Intel CFO David Zinsner said the ASIC business is approaching a $2 billion annual run rate with potential to reach $4 billion.
