Astrolight delivers first space-to-ground laser link at 1 Gbps

Astrolight established its first end-to-end optical link between the ATLAS-1 terminal on the ERMIS-3 nanosatellite and its OGS-2.5 ground station in Greece. The link went from first light to routine 1 Gbps operations within a week, with margins supporting up to 10 Gbps.
