New Jersey lawsuit: worker fired after refusing AI webcam surveillance

A New Jersey lawsuit claims Sutherland Healthcare Solutions fired a remote worker with lupus instead of reducing AI webcam monitoring. Sentinel AI allegedly captured about 160 facial images per eight-hour shift, one every three minutes. The worker was terminated on September 8, 2026, after her request for a medical accommodation was denied.
