Valve gives devs real-world Steam Deck FPS data from players
Since October 1, Valve has given developers access to frame rate data reported by Steam Deck users, showing the share of sessions at each FPS. The data is meant to help studios tune graphics settings for Verified games.
- Data available since October 1, only for Steam Deck Verified games
- LCD model caps at 60 FPS, OLED at 90 FPS
- Valve says a majority of Steam Deck players opted in to share data
- The system could later extend to Legion Go S and Steam Machine
