Leak: LG Apple Home Accessories Get Proximity Control and Setup Without Power

A leak claims LG smart home accessories co-developed with Apple will feature Proximity Control, surfacing an "Open Controls" button or camera viewer in the Dynamic Island when an iPhone is brought near. They will also support NFC-based setup before the device is powered, transferring pairing identity and network credentials to the accessory's secure element.

• Proximity Control surfaces controls in Dynamic Island when iPhone is near
• iPhones without Dynamic Island and iPads get a 30-second notification
• NFC setup works before the accessory is powered on
• Lineup includes thermostat, sensor, deadbolt, doorbell and cameras
