Meta releases open-weight Muse Glimmer for single-GPU PCs
On August 10 Meta released Muse Glimmer, a compact open-weight model for reasoning and agentic tasks on a Mac or PC with a single GPU, distilled from its Muse Spark model whose weights it also plans to release. IBM and Together AI signed a $240 million multi-year deal to build an open-model inference cluster on roughly 2,000 Nvidia Blackwell chips.
