Nvidia defends open source AI alliance, says hundreds of companies being vetted
Nvidia has defended its Open Secure AI Alliance, formed in July to share AI safety and cybersecurity tools after the Hugging Face incident. Nvidia cybersecurity policy head Mark Weatherford said the Linux Foundation is vetting "hundreds and hundreds" of companies, with over 100 members already listed, including Mistral, Hugging Face, Microsoft and Dell, but not Google, OpenAI, Meta or Anthropic.
